AI City’s Infra Will Be Ready In 1 Yr: Sridhar

Hyderabad: After laying the foundation stone for the Artificial Intelligence City (AI City) in the first quarter of 2025, the Telangana government is working on completing the physical infrastructure within a year, said Telangana IT & Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu on Tuesday.

“In the next one year, the architectural framework, the physical infrastructure for the AI City will be ready,” D Sridhar Babu told the media on the sidelines of the inauguration of GlobalLogic’s delivery centre here on Tuesday, while adding that “the government is working on convincing corporates to branch out presence from Hyderabad so as to fill up the unoccupied IT towers in tier-2 cities of Telangana.” “Efforts are on to make sure that the IT towers at Mahbubnagar, Adilabad, Nalgonda and others, are fully occupied. The State government is going to create infrastructure in the emerging towns like Siddipet too so that towns and tier-2 cities grow on par with Hyderabad.”
